THREE SIMPLE TIPS TO GET BACKLINKS
In some of my latest posts, I’ve already mentioned the importance of backlinks and how can we get them? Well, let’s roll back a little bit. Backlinks fever started when Google introduced their Algorithm called pagerank. I think I don’t have to tell you again how it works. what is a backlink exactly?
Well, Backlinks are links that come from other sites to your blog or website. Google looks at them as votes in favor of the content on that page. Therefore, the more votes you get the higher the ranking on Google. Google interpret these votes or backlinks as some kind of support to another page.
Here are some tips :
1. It’s not always about quantity. You see, it is important to have many of those backlinks, but they must be good in quality. Google prefer to rate you higher if your sites and the backlinks-source page has something in common, so what you got to do about it is try to get some backlinks from related content page or site.
2. If you have enough money, you can buy some backlinks from some site you desired or from text link companies available. Remember, One way link is way better than reciprocal links. Also, try to get backlinks from higher rank page/site. I know it’s hard, but once you get one, you should feel the difference. You can use social bookmarking to get links back to your site. However you choose to get them, there should be more incoming than outgoing to help you rank high.
3. Quality Blog Content/Blog post and Quality Commenting. Blog Contents/Blog posts are loved by the search engines because of their freshness and useful content. The more content you have on your blog or site, the bigger possibilities you could appear on the search engine listing. When you do blogwalking, try to comment on other related posts and include a backlink back to your site. This also applicable for forum posts or replies. You can start by joining a forum in your niche or industry, do some quality comments and start some interesting-useful threads more often to get good reputations and by then, you can include a link to your site in your signature.
