A DigitalPoint Forums thread has one of the largest Google AdSense groups I know of. They are currently running a live poll, where they are asking publishers how much they earn per month, on average. The poll currently has 130 responses and is somewhat representative of the smaller publisher sub group, so I thought I share the results with you. Let me make this clear, this is not a random sample, it is of a specific subgroup of AdSense users, so it is not scientific nor fully representative of the AdSense publisher.
As you can see from the chart, 67% claim they earn a $100 or more per month from Google AdSense. 35% say they earn $500 or more per month. A whopping 23% say they earn over $1,000 per month or more and only about 4% say they earn over $10,000 per month or more with AdSense.

The best colors are blue for the link - surfers know that blue means click me. And darkish almost black and grey for the text and url. No borders. The same background as your page. How YOU can REALLY reach $100/day + w/Adsense!
Note: I was inspired to do this post largely by Xfactor’s monsterously generous threads.
I’ve been doing Adsense for a looong time. It’s not my only source of revenue, or my biggest. But it IS my favorite (more on that below).
I see a lot of bad information, bad advice, mis-information. The plain truth is that Adsense can be a terrific way to make money, that it can generate substantial income, and that it isn’t really all that hard to do - if you do it ‘right’.
With this post, I’ll lay out an outline that you can use to get to $100/day with Adsense. While the $100 figure is somewhat arbitrary, it does take time & effort, so there’s a limit to what you can do, HOWEVER, nearly everything can be outsourced, so once you understand it, there’s no reason you couldn’t scale it up almost indefinitely.
Adsense is a ‘numbers game’. How much you make is directly proportional to how much traffic you generate, what percentage of that traffic clicks on an ad (your CTR), and how much you earn per click.
This approach is based around niche mini-sites. The general idea is to find ‘keyword phrase groups’ - niches - that you can rank on Page 1 for quickly. You’ll create these sites using well-optimized templates that will give you high click-through rates.

HOW THIS PLAN WORKS
There are 3 “Pivot Points” for this plan:
Traffic
Conversions
Revenues
The first Pivot Point is traffic. For this plan, we’re going to rely exclusively on organic, or search traffic. We certainly don’t want to pay for traffic (PPC), and ‘referral’ traffic, such as article resource box clicks, is nice but not where we’re going to put our efforts.
Given that we’re looking just for search traffic, we are going to focus our efforts on finding keywords/phrases that have good search volume and minimal competition. The goal is to achieve Page 1 SERPS (Search Engine Results Pages) for each target keyword.
The second Pivot Point is conversions. Conversions are the percentage of visitors that click on an ad, plain and simple. The higher the conversions, the more we make. Our target is 5% (1 click per 20 visitors) though it isn’t unrealistic to expect 10% or higher.
Conversions are largely dependent on our site layout, and this is one of the keys to the plan. There is no shortage of opinions on layouts i.e. static vs. blog, ad placements, # of ad blocks, etc. What I can say is that I’ve tested many, many different type of layouts. For the sites I’m talking about here, I’ve found a particular Wordpress theme that gives me demonstrably better CTR (Click-Through Rates) than any other. The theme is called BlueSense (you can get it here: BlueSense: An Adsense Ready SEO Wordpress Theme). It’s a free theme.
Finally, the third Pivot Point is revenues. By this I mean revenues per click. While there’s no way to know in advance how much we make per click, and it will vary even for the same keywords/phrases, we DO know that some niches/topics/keyword phrases perform better than others.
Obviously we want to target the highest-paying Adsense clicks we can find.
FWIW, I average $1 per click. Some are higher, some are lower, but that’s about average (last week I had TWO clicks that were over $8 - each!).
How do you target high-paying clicks? Think high-CPC keywords. While the CPC isn’t what’s being paid for ads on the Content Network (where you are showing ads), you CAN get a ‘relative’ idea.
Some of the ‘usual suspects’:
Financial - investing, Forex, insurance, foreclosures, mortgages, credit, loans, etc.
Health & Fitness - dieting, weight-loss, quit smoking, cures, etc.
School - vocational schools, training, advanced degrees, scholarships & grants, etc.
You don’t want to target the ‘primary’ keywords, of course, but look for related and/or ’secondary’ keyword phrases. And that’s where the gold is: there are ZILLIONS of these ’secondary’ keyword phrases that are there for the taking! Which brings us to…

KEYWORD RESEARCH
This is the single most important aspect of this plan. The goal is to find relatively high-search-volume, low-competition ‘keyword phrase groups’. Each group becomes the basis for a site, with a single page devoted to a single keyword/phrase.
This is not nearly as hard as some might imagine. First, you’ll want to get yourself a tool that does basic keyword research, but also gives you ‘competition’ numbers. I’m a fan of Nichebot (you can sign up for a $1 trial at NicheBOT | Keywords | Keyword Phrases that drive Huge Traffic), but there are plenty. MicroNiche Finder (Micro Niche Finder.) is very well-respected. Market Samurai (Niche Marketing Product - Market Samurai) is another good one and offers a free trial.
My criteria for creating a site are that I can find at least 10 thematically-related keyword/phrases the EACH have at least 50 searches per day (1500/month), and competition under 40,000 (phrase-matched, or in quotes).
Realistically, I want search volume over 100/day and competition under 20k. This is not nearly as hard to find as you might think.
BTW, you want to track your SERPS. You can do this with a spreadsheet, but that can be tedious. Traffic Travis (100% Free SEO Software | Traffic Travis) has a free trial, but it’s limited to 5 projects, however that should be enough when you’re starting out. They also have a 7-day trial of the unlimited version for $5).
RANKING
Note About Ranking: Since we’ll be going for organic search traffic, it’s important to understand how that works. Where a page is ranked depends on the search term. Assuming your page is properly optimized (on-page optimization - we’ll go over that), than where you rank is a function of ‘total backlink value’. “Backlink value” is the number of backlinks times the ‘rank value’ of each backlink. The ‘rank value’ is Pagerank plus ‘Trustrank’ of the link itself.
To give you a simplified example: Consider two identical pages. One has 10 PR-1 backlinks. The other has 9 PR-1 backlinks and 1 PR-3 backlink. The second page will rank above the first page. The ‘trick’ to ranking your page is to get an overall ‘total backlink value’ higher than the competing pages. If your page has the highest ‘total backlink value’ than you’ll rank first. Second highest will rank second, etc. By optimizing each page, choosing a ‘good’ domain name, and going after relatively low-competition keyword phrase groups, we’ll be able to get those top SERPS listings.
The key therefore is finding high-volume, low-competition keyword phrases, optimizing our pages for them, and building up enough ‘backlink value’ to get to Page 1 SERPS.
I won’t go into a whole backlinking course, but I’ll give you a few tips - plus my ’secret weapons’. First, don’t worry too much about ‘NoFollow’ tags - they still count for backlink value, just not as much as if they were ‘DoFollow’ from higher PR sites. Second, don’t worry too much about building backlinks too fast. Unless you’re using some automated system to build thousands of backlinks at a clip, this shouldn’t be a problem. Remember also that even if you add 100 backlinks in one shot, they are most likely to get indexed much slower over time.
My ‘basic’ backlinking routine is as follows: When I create a page, I tag it using Onlywire (Bookmark & Share - The Power of the Button | OnlyWire) and submit it separately to StumbleUpon and Digg. I’ll also re-write the page somewhat and submit it to Goarticles.
Note on backlinks: where ever possible, I use the targeted keyword phrase as the anchor text, and point it to the appropriate page. Where I can get two backlinks, such as Goarticles, Ezinearticles, etc., I’ll use the same anchor text with one link point to the appropriate page, and another pointing to the domain home page.
My Secret Weapons: In addition to the above, I use Comment Kahuna (Comment Kahuna | Free Link Building Software) and Unique Article Wizard (Unique Article Wizard - Submit Unique Content to Hundreds of Websites). Comment Kahuna is free and works well, letting you find as many blogs to add links to as you could want (NOTE: Read the post you’re commenting on and make reasonable comments. It’s good Karma). UAW is not free, but can get you hundreds of backlinks for any keyword very quickly. I consider it my most valuable paid tool.
You should also be taking advantage of Google’s Webmaster Tools. Look at the sites that your backlinks are ’sticking’ to and go back to them where possible for other backlinks.
PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER
Research, research, research! Use your keyword tool(s). When you find something promising, make sure you can uncover at least 5-10 related keyword phrases.
Purchase a domain name that has your ‘root’ keyword/phrase. This is VERY important!
Now create your content. You want to target ONLY 1 keyword per page. Use that keyword in the title and H1 tags (if you’re using Wordpress, put it in the post title - that’s your H1 tag).
Launch your site. Each day, focus on one of the pages (bookmarks, Digg, etc.). Whatever other tools you are using, UAW, etc., put in the effort and focus on one of your keyword phrases each day.
TIP: You can get decent articles written for $1.50 - $2.00 or so at Amazon Mechanical Turk (https://requester.mturk.com/mturk/welcome) - just MAKE SURE to check them for plaigerism! (just take a few sentences and search them in quotes).
Track your progress!
If you’ve been careful in your keyword research, you should start to see results in a week or two. Once your site is up and everything is indexed, spend a few minutes each day adding more backlinks for each site.
If you’ve picked your topics well, you should start to see good results.
Based on 5% conversions and $1/click average, you should be getting $5 per 100 visitors per site per day, with not too much effort once they’re built and indexed. If you build two per week, even with these minimum numbers, you’ll hit $100/day in just a matter of months.

Tips for Making $100 a day with HubPages

Write a big first paragraph: Every time you write a hub, include a minimum of 150 word paragraph as the first module. This will allow you HubPages to insert a medium rectangle (336 by 250) adsense ads beside that paragraph. By having this, your visitors have a good chance of seeing the ads (without the need to scroll down) and maximum number of ads beside your main content.
Do not inert any images beside the first paragraph: If you want to include an image, insert just below the first paragraph. HubPages will show you the first image that you have in your hub in the Thumbnails (in the front page). Do not include any module (Links / RSS / News) beside the first paragraph.
Go back and review your hubs: If you do not have a first paragraph with images, or do not have a big first paragraph, then revise them all. Include a good lengthy first paragraph in all your published hubs.
Some topics earn more than others: The good topics with adsense are finance, home tips, beauty and fitness tips, product reviews and How-To articles. So, write hubs related to these topics.
Photo galleries do not earn much: I have to make a confession here. Photo galleries do not earn much from adsense. They bring more traffic to my hubs and photo galleries do not attract clicks.
Text-rich hubs attract clicks: Write more text-rich hubs to get more quality adsense ads. Because, when you have only images or photo galleries, the adsense engine confuse what sort of content that is and include junk ads which earn only few micro cents per click. So, write good article sprinkled with the certain keywords across the hub to tell the adsense engine what your hub is related to.
Choose your title wisely: Before you lock up the title of your hub, think for a while. Is the title descriptive enough to attract visitors? Because, even though search engines rank your site based on the keyword, after all, only humans read them. So, having a catchy title helps to attract visitors from the search engine results page. Once you decide the title, search that in a popular search engine and see if you need to modify the keywords.
Separate your long hub into different modules: Break your long hub into different text modules. The rough guide is each text module should have a maximum of 250 words. In this way, you are giving more opportunity to insert Google Ads in the middle.
Monitor your adsense earnings: Do not believe in all I say. Set up separate channels (you can track upto 180 different hubs based on their URLs) to monitor which type of hubs earn more money for you. Write those kind of hubs more often.
Publicize your HubPage links and RSS to directories: Go and search for the directories that list websites or RSS. Add your hubpages profile page and RSS link to those directories. You may already know all of the various traffic generation basics, but still find that your site still isn’t getting the amount of traffic that it deserves. This could be happening for a variety of reasons, and it is important to find out what those reasons are and make the necessary corrections.

The first thing to consider is what you are currently doing in terms of marketing. Are you actually using the traffic generation basics to get traffic? Do you even have a marketing plan? Marketing can be very time consuming, but if you want traffic, it is necessary. The days of ‘build it and they will come’ are over. 1. Write more pillar articles. Everything you do above will help you to find blog readers however all of the techniques I’ve listed only work when you have strong pillars in place. Without them if you do everything above you may bring in readers but they won’t stay or bother to come back. Aim for one solid pillar article per week and by the end of the year you will have a database of over 50 fantastic feature articles that will work hard for you to bring in more and more readers.

2. Submit your articles to EzineArticles.com. This is another tip that doesn’t bring in hundreds of new visitors immediately (although it can if you keep doing it) but it’’s worthwhile because you simply leverage what you already have - your pillar articles. Once a week or so take one of your pillar articles and submit it to Ezine Articles. Your article then becomes available to other people who can republish your article on their website or in their newsletter.

How you benefit is through what is called your “Resource Box”. You create your own resource box which is like a signature file where you include one to two sentences and link back to your website (or blog in this case). 1. del.icio.us
del.icio.us is a social bookmarking site that has rapidly taken off even more in popularity since being purchased by Yahoo. I use del.icio.us probably the most out of all these top picks, particularly to post interesting sites that I've found around the Web. I also subscribe to quite a few del.icio.us tags, such as popular and reference, and I get all the sites tagged with these keywords in my RSS reader of choice, Bloglines.

2. Digg.com
Digg is social bookmarking and social networking gone a little crazy due to the fact that anyone can submit a Digg (site), and then anyone can comment on those same Diggs. For me the most interesting feature of Digg has to actually be the comments on the sites and stories, since the Digg community is not shy about letting folks know how they feel about a particular Digg. Primarily focussed on geeky, technology-type items.

3. Listible
Listible hasn't been around very long, but already it's one of my must-visit sites. Probably because I have a weird thing for lists. How to make a sitemap for blogs.

Sitemaps are not necessary. Even if you don’t have sitemaps the crawlers will crawl your pages and find the content. But, it is like letting them crawl in a dark room. What if you had a well lit room with all navigation and helpers around which will take them to each room? It will be more effective right? Sitemaps serve this purpose. This helps the crawlers to undersand your site more effectively.

Step 1:

At the top of screen you will see the option to add your site. Just paste the URL of your blog.

Click on Ok button. Next you will get confirmation message.

Step 2:

Now you need to verify your ownership of blog. Click on verify link. Google offers two methods of verification. You can either upload an HTML file with a name we specify (Which is not possible with Blogger account), or you can add a META tag to your site’s index file. Adding META tag via template code is possible. So just select Add a META tag from drop down menu:

It will generate code for you, copy the meta tag and paste it into your blog template section.

Step 3:

Go to your blogger.com and login to your account. Go to your blog > Click on Template
Paste the META tag code after section:

Click on Save Template changes button.

Step 4:

Then go to sitemap account and click the box that read as follows:

I’ve added the META tag in the home page of http://pagerankings.blogspot.com/. Click on Verify button.

Step 5:

Now your site is added to sitemap account and verification is done. Next you should need to add actual sitemap URL. Since blogger.com account allow you to create a text file or anything else you need to add your site feed (ATOM XML) file as a site map. Click on add a sitemap link:

Step 6:

You can add a Sitemap to your account to provide Google additional information about your blog. Google will process your sitemap and provide information on any errors in the sitemaps tab as well your sitemap will be downloaded everyday to index your blog fast.

Now you need to add Atom 0.3 feeds. Generally, you would use this format only if your site already has a syndication feed and this is the only way to add sitemap to your blogger.com account.

The Israeli attacks in Gaza for 18th days long. Israel also continuing to block access for all journalists. But bloggers in Gaza are wrritnig their post to show outsiders the conflict with firsthand accounts of their experiences at the unfolding humanitarian crisis.

Safa Joudeh, blogging at Lamentations - Gaza, described the effect that living amid the conflict has had on her family.

"Our entire lives are now one long chaotic stream of existence: waiting in line each morning to fill up containers with water from the only working tap on the ground floor of our building, baking homemade bread from the depleting supply of flour we managed to obtain a few days into the offensive, turning on the power generator for 30 to 50 minutes in the evening to charge phones and watch the news…

We are now unable to distinguish joy from fear. My 11-year old sister laughs as she imagines how people all over the world watch the horrific events taking place in the Gaza Strip. “[It’s] like we are a scary movie. I’m sure people eat popcorn as they watch,” she says. My 12- and 14-year old brothers act out scenes from our reality while quoting … their favorite video game, and we laugh hysterically at their performance. Moments later we tense up at the sound of a violent, close by earthquake-like explosion, and resume our laughter when the building stops shaking."

Google Changes Favicon How can You ?

Google Change their favicon. The new favicon is cheerful but less comforting. The old one was better. It makes a lot of sense: the small g is a symbol for infinity (∞). A googol (10¹⁰⁰) is just a poor approximation for the huge amount of information that needs to be indexed by Google.

This minor things of changing a favorite icon is noticed by people immediately. Google, sometime over night, updated their favorite icon to a new icon. The favorite icon is the (g/G) icon that is displayed in the browser URL bar on most modern browsers.

Now the question is that how could you change your blogger favicon. Let's descrive me the process how you can change your bloggers favicon as you like.

Creating Favicon :

You need to create or download a nice Favicon for your blog. Now give it a format of 16x16 pixel. Then save your Favicon in 'favicon.ico' format.

Install Favicon :

Now you need to upload this Favicon in the web space. You can use your hosting provider or a free way in Google Page Creator. Upload the favicon.ico file to your Google pages directory as shown in the picture.

Installing Favicon to Blogger

First, open your Blogger account.

1. Click on 'Layout' option.

2. Then go on 'Edit HTML'

Stat counter is great analyzer of your blog. It is very smart visitor tracker. The speciality is that it gives you opportunity to add many counters for more sites in only one account. When sign up you need to add one site. After that you could add more counter for your other sites.Follow the steps to add visitor counter :

Sign in to your account, Click 'Add New Project' which is under my Projects.
Now give some information like previous time you give for your first site. Such as Website Title, Website URL etc.
Then Statcounter congrats you and informed you that your project has been created. Now click on 'CONFIGURE & INSTALL CODE>>'.
Now you can select visible, invisible etc counter. We recommend 'Button Only'. Click the box you wish. Now click 'Next'.

(1) Receive Checks :

(2) EFT(Electronic Fund Transfer) :
